FlashForward finalists

4 comments Posted by: Laura

HomeLocator has been nominated as a finalist for the FlashForward Film Festival in the Online Application category, so we are in our way to Austin, Texas!

With contestants like Nike and Converse, we don’t have much hope of winning, but it will be fun nonetheless to meet with friends we only get to see at conferences.
We hope to see you there!

cool! congratulations guys!
I think is not a matter of brands but about the application itself, your app is good even if doesn't have a big brand behind it (ie nike, converse...)
Good luck!

Hello Guys,

Great to see you've progressed this so nicely its looking fantastic, I've been a big fan of this site for some time and have just undergone an upgrade on my latest developement to flash forms, so quite the happy bunny.

Congrats on the nomination.

*whispers, I'm not sure, but i think i noticed a small bug in the app, when dragging an item into the 'favourites' section, it appears to add it twice to the list above.

Well done guys and keep up the good work, i'm listed for some more notice on the mango blog, so looking forward to its release.

Thanks,

Rob

Thank you guys for your comments.

Rob,
Yeah, we noticed the bug. We aren't sure when it appeared, since it was working fine. I believe it started when we had to modify the app to make it work with the final release of Flex. We'll have to fix it some day...
